Mark Johns has retired, effective March 31, 2018, as the Executive Director for PCLA. Mark has led the organization since 2014 and has done an incredible job structuring and implementing effective initiatives in order for the association to be successful in its service delivery.
The Board greatly appreciates the service and dedication Mark has put into PCLA and wishes him the best in his retirement. Mark will remain on the Board for PCLA.
Mark Zuberbuhler is excited to take over the position of Executive Director. Mark has spent the last several years as Board President and Interim CEO for the Pacifica Treatment Centre, Board member for the Alzheimer Society of BC and was previously at the University of British Columbia in the Information and Learning Technology group. Mark provides strategic advice in non-profit organizations and in digital media and learning technology.
PCLA is a not for profit mental health and substance use organization that provides innovative services and housing options to persons with mild to complex mental health symptoms. The focus is on high-quality, effective, integrated, client-directed and client centered services and support.
