Renay Bajkay is a senior leader with more than 30 years of experience in mental health and community living services across British Columbia. Previously, Executive Director, Programs and Properties at Coast Mental Health, overseeing a large portfolio of programs, many staff, and the organization’s property operations. Career foundation as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse informs a practical, people‑centred approach to governance, risk, and service delivery.

She brings deep experience in supported housing, mental health and substance‑use services, multi‑site operations, labour relations, and partnerships with BC Housing, Vancouver Coastal Health, Fraser Health, and Providence Health Care. Known for steady leadership, clear decision‑making, and an ability to translate board‑level strategy into real outcomes for clients, staff, and communities.

She obtained a Nursing Degree in South Africa, Leadership Development education in Canada and extensive experience in Accreditation with Accreditation Canada.
